Amissa makes it simple for providers to invite patients and guide them through first steps on the platform.
Steps
Invite your patient.
Log in to your Amissa clinician account.
From the Patient Dashboard, select Add Patient.
Enter the patient’s name and email address.
Send the invitation directly from Amissa.
Patient receives the invitation.
Patients will get an email with a link to download the Amissa app.
They’ll be prompted to create an account and review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Patient sets up the app.
After account creation, patients can log symptoms, connect wearables through Apple Health, and start tracking their health information.
You can provide guidance on which data you’d like them to prioritize (for example, hot flashes, sleep, or mood).
Confirm onboarding.
Once the patient logs in and begins entering data, their information will appear in your clinician dashboard.
You can review trends, create follow-up reminders, and customize insights for their care plan.
Helpful Details
Amissa does not require a wearable device—patients can still log symptoms and other information manually.
Wearables (such as Apple Watch, Oura Ring, or Garmin) can enhance the data you see but are optional.
Patients agree to how their data may be used and shared when joining Amissa. Researchers do not receive data without consent. Amissa does not sell data to advertisers or marketers.
