How often should I log symptoms?

Symptom Logging Frequency

Updated over a week ago

You can log symptoms as often as you’d like, but doing so regularly will give you and your provider the clearest picture of your health.

Helpful Details:

  • Daily check-ins: Many patients find it helpful to log once a day, even if their symptoms are mild or unchanged.

  • During flare-ups: If symptoms feel different or more intense (such as hot flashes, mood shifts, or sleep changes), add an extra entry to capture what’s happening in real time.

  • Before appointments: Logging consistently in the days leading up to a visit gives your provider the most up-to-date information.

  • Flexibility: You don’t have to log at the same time every day—choose a rhythm that feels sustainable for you.

Next Steps / Where to Go:
Your provider may also suggest a specific logging frequency that best supports your care plan. If you need help setting reminders, you can turn on notification prompts in the Amissa app.
